The first annual Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals Week schedule and activities have been finalized. It is going to be a huge success and folks have already begun to make plans to be a part of this inaugural event. It is a full week of activities and our headquarters is the Hilton Garden Inn hotel directly across from the Convention Center and ground zero for all of the off track event activities.
We kick off our week on Sunday evening, August 5th with a group get together at the HGI. You will receive all of your week’s VIP credentials, detailed maps and itineraries and best of all you will get to meet everyone else that will be part of our week’s fun. Each morning we will enjoy a group breakfast at our hotel.
Monday is a full day that we will call Planes, Trains and Automobiles. We will take special guided tours of Aviation Heritage Park, Train and Vintage Rail Car Museum; have a box lunch and tour of the National Corvette Museum. Tuesday we head south to Nashville. In Music City we will visit Antique Archeology (American Pickers store), Advanced Plating’s facilities and the restaurants and shops on Broadway. On our way back to Bowling Green, we will stop and say hi to Stacey David and tour his Gearz TV show production facilities.
After breakfast on Wednesday, we will head to the National Corvette Museum Motorsport Park for a tour, laps around the track and great photo opportunities. It is then north to the Bourbon Trail and a tour of the Jim Beam Distillery. Wednesday evening we will be special guests at the Invitation Only party to open the American Tri-Five Association’s Heritage Spotlight event at the Convention Center. Thursday’s breakfast will be very special as we are joined by Doug Marion for autographs and a meet and greet. Then we head to historic Lost River Caves for a cool boat tour. We will then tour Holley’s facilities in Bowling Green. After enjoying Thursday’s activities at the Convention Center, we will lead the Parade to Beech Bend Raceway for the Thursday Night Under the Lights racing. We will have special seating in trackside suites.
Friday and Saturday we will have special parking and a hospitality tent that will be our event headquarters. Each day we will have a cookout for our group at lunch time, and we will have the perfect spot to enjoy all of the activities of the Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals. Friday evening we will have VIP front row tables for the Phil Dirt and the Dozers concert at the Convention Center.
It is going to be a fantastic week. The cost of the activities mentioned in the schedule are included in the package price. This includes a double room at the Hilton Garden starting on Sunday, Aug 5th and checking out on Sunday, August 12th. Breakfast each morning is included. Two Special VIP admission tickets to the Tri-Five Nationals are also included. If you have already registered for the event you will be reimbursed that cost. The lunches that are mentioned in the itinerary are included. We will also have special discount coupons for area restaurants for evening meals. Each package will also include two commemorative Inaugural Tri-Five Nationals Week jackets with each participants name and year of vehicle. The cost for the entire week of activities, hotel and jackets is $1955 for two people. We have had to limit the number of packages to 50. With two folks per package that means that you will be part of a group of 100 folks that can say they were part of the Inaugural Tri-Five Nationals Week. Call the Nationals Week Hotline at 1-800-676-3026 with any questions and details on how to sign up for the week.
I will be leading all of the activities during the week in the Tri-Five Nationals 2018 Give Away ’55 Chevy. I hope to see all of you during the week and at the 2018 Tri-Five Nationals in Bowling Green.
